Privacy Policy

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how Axiom Board Group LLC ("Axiom," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information through axiomboardgroup.com (the "Site"). It applies only to this Site. Services we provide to clients, and other Axiom websites and applications, are governed by their own agreements and privacy notices. By using the Site, you acknowledge this Policy and our Terms and Conditions.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide: first and last name, email address, phone number, the content of your message, and any other information you choose to send us through our contact form or by email.

SMS consent records: whether you checked each SMS consent box, the consent wording shown, the date and time, and the IP address and browser used, kept as proof of consent.

Information collected automatically: IP address, approximate location derived from IP, browser and device type, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, and dates and times of visits, collected in server and security logs.

Cookies and analytics: only if you accept cookies, Google Analytics collects usage data using cookies and similar identifiers.

We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information such as Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, health data, or precise geolocation through the Site. Please do not send it.

3. How We Use Information

We use personal information to: respond to your inquiry and communicate with you; evaluate and provide services you request; send text messages you have consented to; operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site; detect and prevent fraud, spam, and abuse; keep records of consent and communications; enforce our Terms; and comply with legal obligations. We do not use your information to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you.

4. SMS Data Privacy

Mobile opt-in data, SMS consent, and phone numbers collected for SMS communications will not be sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. This information is shared only with the service providers that deliver our messages on our behalf. Reply STOP to any message to opt out or HELP for help. See our SMS Terms for details.

5. Cookies and Tracking

We load analytics cookies only after you choose Accept on our cookie notice. If you choose Decline, or your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, no analytics or advertising scripts are loaded. Strictly necessary storage is used to remember your cookie choice. You can change your choice at any time using the Cookie Preferences button in the footer of every page. You can also block cookies in your browser settings.

6. Service Providers

We share personal information with vendors who process it on our behalf and only as needed to provide their services, including website hosting and database providers, our transactional email provider, network security and content delivery providers, and, if you accept cookies, Google Analytics. These providers are contractually limited in how they may use the information.

7. Other Disclosures

We may disclose information: to comply with law, subpoena, court order, or government request; to protect the rights, property, or safety of Axiom, our clients, or others; to investigate fraud or security issues; to enforce our agreements; to our professional advisors under confidentiality; or in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of all or part of our business, in which case information may transfer to the successor subject to this Policy.

8. No Sale of Personal Information

Axiom does not sell personal information for money. If you accept optional analytics cookies, some state laws may treat that data collection as a "sale" or "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising. You can opt out at any time by choosing Decline under Cookie Preferences, and we honor GPC signals as a valid opt out.

9. Data Retention

We keep personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here, then delete or de-identify it. Typical periods are: contact form inquiries and related emails, up to 3 years after last contact, or longer if you become a client; SMS consent and opt-out records, up to 5 years to document compliance with telemarketing laws; analytics data, up to 14 months; and server and security logs, up to 90 days. We may retain information longer when required by law or needed to resolve disputes or enforce our agreements.

10. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, and security headers. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You transmit information at your own risk. If a data breach affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.

11. Your California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the following rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act:

  • The right to know the categories and specific pieces of personal information we collect, the sources, the purposes, and the categories of third parties we disclose it to.
  • The right to request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal exceptions.
  • The right to correct inaccurate personal information.
  • The right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information.
  • The right to limit use of sensitive personal information. We do not use sensitive personal information for purposes that require this right.
  • The right not to be discriminated or retaliated against for exercising any of these rights.

In the past 12 months we have collected identifiers (name, email, phone, IP address), internet or network activity, approximate geolocation, and the content of communications, from you and your device, for the business purposes described in Section 3. We disclosed these categories to the service providers described in Section 6. Axiom does not sell personal information for money and does not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16.

If you accept optional cookies, analytics tools may collect browsing data, which California law may treat as "sharing." You can opt out at any time by choosing Decline under Cookie Preferences in the footer. We also honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as a valid opt out.

To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected] with the subject line "California Privacy Request." We will verify your identity by matching information you provide against information we hold and will respond to verified requests within 45 days, which may be extended by another 45 days where permitted by law.

12. Other State Privacy Rights

Residents of Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Iowa, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Texas, Utah, Virginia, and other states with consumer privacy laws may have rights to access, correct, delete, and obtain a copy of their personal information, and to opt out of targeted advertising, sale, and profiling. To make a request, email [email protected]. If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying with the subject line "Privacy Appeal," and we will respond within the time required by your state's law. If your appeal is denied, you may contact your state attorney general.

13. Authorized Agents and Verification

You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. We may require written proof of the agent's authority and may ask you to verify your identity directly. We may decline requests we cannot verify or that are manifestly unfounded or excessive.

14. Children's Privacy

The Site is intended for business owners and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

15. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

Because there is no common standard for browser Do Not Track signals, we do not respond to them. We do honor Global Privacy Control signals as described above.

16. Visitors Outside the United States

The Site is operated in and intended for the United States. If you access it from elsewhere, you understand your information will be processed and stored in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.

17. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version here with a new effective date. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify you. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted means you acknowledge the updated Policy.
